History

Directors of Odysseus Publishing, Ian Brooks and Todd Cole, have a long history of magazine publishing with innovative and leading magazine companies. They met at Murdoch Magazines, where Ian ran the finance department, while Todd was the editor of Men’s Health magazine.  They have worked together for over 10 years, publishing several niche titles and a couple of mainstream titles.  Built on a foundation of experience, excellence and professionalism, Odysseus Publishing is a relatively new player in the Australian publishing marketplace.

Future Goals

Odysseus Publishing hopes to significantly expand its consumer special interest magazine business by forming more successful publishing partnerships with international publishers.

Who or What is Odysseus?

Odysseus is a classic hero of Greek Literature and the central figure in Homer’s poem, The Odyssey.  Odysseus also plays an important role in Homer’s other famous poem, The Iliad.  Known as Odysseus the cunning, this classic hero is famed for his resourcefulness, his charm and his ability to prevail in extremely difficult situations.
