Australian Men’s Fitness magazine has had a massive 37.5 percent increase in circulation, according to the latest ABC audit. This brings the monthly circulation of Men’s Fitness to 32,585 copies.
The significant year-on-year increase in circulation comes after a 59.5 percent growth in readership for the year to June 2011. The total number of readers is now 193,000, according to Roy Morgan.
“We are very pleased with the result,” said Editorial Director, Todd Cole. “Men’s Fitness is put together by a team of passionate, experienced professionals and we have a strong connection with our readers. This result reflects that.”
Men’s Fitness was launched in 2008 by Odysseus Publishing. Men’s Fitness publisher, Ian Brooks says, “We have had a strong, steady marketing and distribution strategy since launch which is now beginning to pay off. We have had some recent wins in the major supermarkets, our iPad strategy is working well, and we have had a couple of unique marketing initiatives that have paid dividends. Our growth is clearly against market trends but should continue for the foreseeable future. We’ve been very fortunate.”
